Knoxed Capital Selected for 500 Global's VC Unlocked at Stanford University

Knoxed Capital Selected for 500 Global's VC Unlocked at Stanford University

Knoxed Capital has been selected by 500 Global to participate in VC Unlocked, the firm's flagship venture capital programme delivered in partnership with Stanford University.

VC Unlocked is an invitation-only, peer-nominated programme designed for emerging venture capitalists, family offices, angel investors, and institutional investors who are shaping the future of the industry. Running on Stanford's campus from 24 August to 4 September 2026, the two-week programme combines academic rigour with hands-on investing practice: participants define and stress-test their personal investment thesis with feedback from Stanford faculty, learn investment frameworks from Stanford academics and 500 Global partners, evaluate live startups through 500's deal process, and build relationships across a global community of investors. The programme draws on 500 Global's more than fifteen years of experience and thousands of deals across emerging startup ecosystems around the world.

For Knoxed Capital, the programme is an opportunity to both share and sharpen its investment approach. As a family office committed to long-term value creation, Knoxed will use the experience to refine its thesis, pressure-test its frameworks against world-class faculty and peers, and strengthen the disciplined, forward-looking way it allocates capital.

The selection is especially meaningful given Salash Motiani's conviction in emerging markets. Salash sees some of the most compelling, under-served opportunities of the coming decade in emerging economies — markets where strong entrepreneurs, growing digital adoption, and structural change are creating outsized potential for patient, well-informed capital. VC Unlocked's deep roots in emerging-market investing align closely with where Knoxed Capital is focusing its attention, and the programme will help the firm build the networks, tools, and frameworks to invest in these regions with greater conviction and impact.
